Uses rsync over SSH for efficient incremental transfers.
pCloud Setup
- Enable WebDAV in your pCloud settings
- Enter your pCloud username and app-specific password
- Specify the remote directory (default:
/Backups/BlitzPress)
How Remote Sync Works
- A local BorgBackup archive is created first (incremental, deduplicated)
- The latest archive is exported as a tarball
- The tarball is uploaded to your configured remote provider
- Credentials are stored encrypted in
/opt/blitzpress/remote-storage/
Testing Connection
Click “Test Connection” after entering credentials. BlitzPress will attempt to write a small test file to the remote, verify it exists, then delete it.
Available Actions
- Upload — manually trigger remote sync of latest backup
- List — view all remote archives with dates and sizes
- Download — pull a specific archive from remote to local (for restore)
- Test — verify connectivity and permissions
