Bandwidth Monitoring

Track how much data each site is transferring.

How Tracking Works

• BlitzPress parses OLS access logs to calculate total response bytes per site
• Processing is done in 10,000-line chunks to prevent memory spikes
• State is persisted to disk, so bandwidth accumulates across log rotations
• Only processes new log lines since the last scan (incremental)

Metrics Available

• Total bandwidth — cumulative data transferred since last reset
• New bandwidth — data transferred since last check
• Per-site breakdown — see which sites use the most bandwidth

Monthly Reset

Bandwidth counters can be reset monthly. Use the “Reset All” action at the start of each billing cycle, or reset individual sites.
