Multi-PHP Version Management

BlitzPress supports multiple PHP versions simultaneously. Each site can run a different PHP version.

Available PHP Versions

• PHP 8.4 (latest)
• PHP 8.3 (default, recommended)
• PHP 8.2
• PHP 8.1
• PHP 8.0
• PHP 7.4 (legacy support)

Switching PHP Version

From the panel, go to your site’s settings and select a new PHP version. BlitzPress will:

1. Validate the requested PHP version is installed on the server
2. Update the OLS virtual host configuration (swap lsphp binary references)
3. Restart OpenLiteSpeed

The switch is instant with zero downtime — OLS gracefully reloads the configuration.

PHP Settings (php.ini)

Common PHP settings can be adjusted per-site from the panel:

• upload_max_filesize — maximum upload size
• post_max_size — maximum POST data size
• max_execution_time — script timeout
• memory_limit — PHP memory allocation
• max_input_vars — form field limit
